Last week, I got my Acer Aspire One Blue Sapphire with N270 processor. I was about to buy ASUS Eee PC with latest N280 processor but I dropped the idea of buying it because of it’s 10 ” screen size…

    yea i have bought 5 diffrent acer aspire 1’s and the first one like this i bought at wall mart but had a 120 gb hdd but did have a case for it that was inside of the box above where the netbook is inside the box like inside the 2 cardboard things

    hi mr bittertruthnavin. i have 2 exact laptops in each feature you have. my one laptop’s windows was damaged before taking its backup. then i did reinstallation from another xp cd. now there is no erecovery management. as you know there is no erecovery CD with it. how to recover it to default situation. and i am trying to take backup from the the other one but there is no option. plz reply as quickly as possible. waitiong for your response. essa

    You said, you have two exact netbooks. You need to see if the partitions have been altered. To do so, use bootcd like GPARTED or UBCD to see if there is hidden partition . If there is one, try from the POST screen to access erecovery. If no hidden partition for recovery is there, I’ve no more words to say than to contact Acer.

    I bought it off the Amazon. And, it didn’t have any 3G modem. Though.. I read on papers, AT&T/Verizon are selling this with their 3G modem at very nominal price but with long term commitment and subscription fee every month :)

    no, nothing like that.. It’s still working fine. I use mini mouse even on big laptop., always hated to use that touch pad. whatever, its my ebook reader, my remote control(I control 3 of my other home computers from anywehre) so for so great experience.. Go for 10 ” model, I checked it out on Costco and I could barely differentiate the size. Thanks
