Loads of questions about the Samsung Tocco Lite?

13 Apr

Yet again, I have changed my mind about the phone I want to get – this is my absolute favourite so far, and depending on the answers this questions gets I will be ordering it in the next few days!!!!

I need to know what the phone is like – easy to use, good battery life, etc – I can’t find any bad reviews about this phone, unlike the LG Cookie!

Does this phone have a touch-querty keyboard if you turn it to one side – some reviews say yes, and some say no. Likewise, does it have a flash??

What are the games like on this phone?? Is it compatible with motion-sensor games, like the LG Cookie – but again I am not fussed about games.

Please don’t suggest any other phones to me.

I am not fussed about camera quality (its only used to take photos of the dogs, and anything will be better than my current Samsung), or internet (I have free, unlimited access on my laptop). I don’t make many calls on my phones, just texting, and have had touchscreens before (whilst waiting for my phone to be repaired).

I want a relatively cheap (no more than £100) phone, that looks good, is quite thin, with a decent screen and spec.

Thanks in advance for answering!
Also, what kind of headphones can you use with is – any ones, or acutal samsung ones?

DAEMON Tools Lite is that your netbook is looking for

03 Nov

At the last time netbooks acquires increasing popularity. It’s inexpensive and lightweight device that can be used as a second computer, but does not have a DVD-ROM.

So, some strategy is need to overcome this obstacle. To buy an external drive is not really comfortable, especially in a trip. One of the ways is to create one or several virtual drives instead. And DAEMON Tools Lite will be the best choice for this.

DAEMON Tools Lite allows to run virtual discs or so called “images” just as if the original disc was inserted. DAEMON Tools Lite can make images or use existing ones that were grabbed by other programs. It can mount variety of disc image types:*.b5t, *.b6t, *.bwt, *.ccd, *.cdi, *.cue, *.iso, *.mds, *.nrg, *.pdi, *.isz. It’s very convenient.

The usable program’s function is a number of virtual drives that can run images simultaneously. DAEMON Tools Lite emulates up to 4 DVD-ROM drives. When business people are busy with several cases at the same time this facilitates access to data. A virtual drive has a dozens of times faster data reading speed than a physical one has.

Manage DAEMON Tools Lite via the task bar. A context menu pops up after click with all program’s functionality ready to use. It’s simple and it doesn’t matter if you are a beginner.

By the way DAEMON Tools Lite has small size and doesn’t use a lot of system resources. It works on Windows XP as well as on Windows Vista and Windows 7 RC.

So, become one of happy netbook owners who have DVD-ROM. You can take your lovely netbook to a beach or a park and listen to your favourite music, watch video or run software from disc images “inserted” into virtual drives. It’s not a problem anymore. With DAEMON Tools Lite it is possible.

Acer Aspire 11.6″ AO751H Netbook: Big Screen, Lite Weight, And Priced Right

25 Sep

In today’s tough economic condition, uncovering the “best bang for your bucks” is more important than before. This belief is particularly important for things that we must have to make our lives better or allow us to be more productive. Take for example, the computers that we use. Being online is vital for students who do research and travelling business professionals who need to communicate with their colleagues through email. They use laptops. But laptops can be very expensive (as in thousands of dollars), bulky (as in over a foot-and-a-half wide), and heavy (as in 3-5 lbs).

Now come the netbooks. These are laptops but have been reduced to its basic purpose for online web surfing, messaging, and light work such as paper composition or reports. They are small and compact. 9 to 10 inch screens seem to be the average size. Also, travelling office workers and students will love the netbook’s average weight of less than 3 lbs. They’re much easier and lighter to travel with. Easily as important is the netbook’s price. They retail for less than $500.

Acer 11.6″ Laptop

The Acer 11.6 netbook is special in particular because it is equpped with a screen larger than 10″. Its 11.6″ screen makes it so much easier for consumers to see what they’re doing. Students will have an easier time working on their paper or researching online. Office workers will have a nicer time creating the report or typing up the memo that they need. The 11.6″ screen has a 16:9 aspect ratio with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. That’s the same aspect ratio in most high definition TV. Furthermore, the screen uses a LED-backlit display technology that is energy efficient and helps out in a prolonged battery life. The 6-cell battery can operate up to 7 hours in a single charge.

And Acer is doing this for less than $400. The Acer 11.6 Netbook is available for a retail price of $389.00.

For that price, the Acer 11.6″ Laptop is also not sacrificing any performance. The Acer 11.6 Netbook is equipped with the components seen in many netbooks that’s being sold currently. It comes with a 1.33 GHz Intel Atom processor, 1GB of SDRAM, 160 GB of hard drive space, and Win XP.

What’s considered to be the Acer Aspire 11.6″ AO751H Netbook’s defining feature is the Multi-Gesture Touchpad. It’s fantastic improvement over existing touch pads that are limited in functionality. The Multi-Gesture Touchpad let’s you navigate around files and websites with motions more natural to you. So you could be flicking, pinching, or swirling at the screen and the new touchpad will accommodate you.

These really makes the Acer 11.6 laptop the deal of a lifetime.
