Good laptop for sims 3 with good battery life?

I am going to Norway soon and I want to get a laptop that’s around $500. Also with good battery life for the plane ride. I will probably just use it for playing Sims 3 and watching movies and listening to music. I would like it also to be thin and light for carrying it
Thanks for the fast answer. I was looking At the acer timeline laptops and I wanted something like that. The battery supposedly lasts 8 hours. But I don’t think the processor is enough to play sims 3

I need an hp laptop for college and I’m torn between two choices: HP Pavilion dv5-1235dx Entertainment Notebook PC and the HP Pavilion dv4-1225dx Entertainment Notebook PC. Both have similar characteristics but the first laptop has a longer battery life (7 hours) which is the better purchase? I was told that longer battery life isn’t much and just makes the laptop heavier.
