OLED is an untried technology and is not available in these sizes!!What makes you think OLED is a better technology!! It is just another technology doesn’t mean to say it’s better.

I really dont get the point of making TVs that thin. I mean I get going from CRTs to LCDs thickness, but that thin? Do we really need them so slim?

agree, LCD is good enough, but oh well, future technologies want to save weight and make thing samller w/ bigger/better quality so yeah, the thinner the better, but, if its too thing, it could break just by punching it or use a bit force to do the work.

One of the benifit of thin is that it looks damn nice when hanging of the wall and it takes little space only. It is like the wall it’s self is showing the picture. Looks a lot better.
