ok so my laptop has bluetooth, and so does my phone, so does this mean i can text people using my laptop?
Say i get a text and my phone is in my pocket and im in class, can i use my laptop with bluetooth to sync with my bluetooth phone and type a text and send it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
im just excited because i ordered my new laptop!!!!!! its an HP Pavilion dv2500t, and im so smart because I searched for cupon codes when i was checking out and i found a 20% off code and it was valad and it saved me 250 dollars!! Now, my laptop is cheaper than the dell one that is offered at a discount for attendees of my college AND it is better!! That would of been the laditude D630 which dosent have any of the features that the HP Pavilion dv2500t has such as bluetooth and touch sensative buttons that light up, and the fingerprint reader plus it is a lot thinner than the laditude and it looks so much better!!!!!

I’m sorry, I am not sure if you can txt people from your laptop that way, but on AIM you can. example: Message the number starting with a + then a 1, the area code, and the number. “+17275555555″

u can and u can’t, that is to say u can not text like sending an SMS or IMs, but u can send( *.txt ) files to cellphones or other laptops and people can open them and read your message.
that is to say type a message on a notepad and send it to and cellphone with a bluetooth in range
