My laptop screen has a bleed in the middle, black 1/2 inch smudge on top widening towards the left but changes from black to thin multi colored horizontal lines. How so I fix it without purchasing a new laptop? Also I need it to be a low cost repair.

Sounds like it needs to be replaced. If it is not under warranty you should consider a new laptop as it will not be low cost.

sorry,there is know way to fix it cheap,costs up to $500 or more for the factory to fix it/yours may be less/call your support and ask them//you may want to just get a new laptop//////
